Self and being...

In an age where there is much talk about "being yourself," I reserve to
myself the right to forget about being myself, since in any case there is
very little chance of my being anybody else.

Spirit in my experience

To say I always recognize my connection to that life force which has brought me into this experience of myself in human form would be a lie, or, at the very least, a miss statement. I am after all human and subject to the miss thoughts, foibles and distractions that everyone else is.

I wish I was more conscious than I am, but in the overall life experience, I feel I am more conscious than I was. Whatever that means. I am more aware of the things I do that make my life better and help those around me. I am also painfully aware sometimes of the things I do that make my life less than a joy. I still wonder sometimes why I am not more conscious about those things I do which affect those around me or myself before I do them.

It is those times I need to work on. How can I move more deliberately, more mindfully, and more lovingly, more often? I talk about attention and intention all the time. In order to be a greater positive influence in the lives of others, I need to put greater attention on my intention towards myself and how I see myself. As I feel this greater conscious choice to see myself as a more compassionate, more caring, and more loving person, this intention will project itself in my outer experience.

Funny how that works. I wish it didn't happen in baby steps, that it could happen in one fell swoop. Maybe it can. Maybe it will. I guess it just depends on me and my intention for me.

I am a Mirror!

Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, says,
"Life is a mirror of your consistent thoughts."
And he is so right.
So, remember if you wish to see yourself, your life and the world in a
different light, you must see yourself and all those around you in a new
light.

Peace and Light,

9-11-11 Remembering and moving forward

Join me in knowing that as we leave this day of remembrance, we move forward
into a new idea, birthed in God, Spirit or whatever you want to call our
divine source. We are propelled by our thoughts to think of this world in
new ways in every moment.

Know with me that these thoughts are good thoughts, worthy thoughts,
thoughts of peace, of love, of joy.

And know with me that these conscious thoughts become the norm in our lives,
and in our actions and as we go forward day by day We move into a new
paradigm of a new world based in love, in compassion, and in the maxim that
we are, each of us, our brothers keeper. And in gratitude we are each given
a new life

This is the truth right now.

and so it is!

that place of peace . . .

In the shadows of my thoughts, in that quiet place undisturbed by the world,
is a thought always of Peace. In that place of peace is the real world, and
the essence of all that is- Joy, Love, Harmony, Peace, Compassion, Gratitude
and Laughter. They are all connected as are we in our greatest realization
of the universe of Good.

Spirit Goes Ahead

Quote:
Whenever you leave one place to go to another place, . pause for a second to
realize the presence has gone before you to prepare the way, and that the
same divine Presence remains behind you as a benediction to all who pass
that way.
~Joel Goldsmith, The Infinite Way, pg 97, para., 3

Affirmation:
Spirit moves me ahead as I am willing to move.

Affirmative Prayer:
I give pause to Spirit, everywhere present, everywhere the Presence in my
life. Before me, beside me beyond me, I find myself within Its embrace
always. I am bathed in the love of God in every moment. Immersed and
connected, I allow It to be my guide, the perfect conductor of my life, It
directs my every action. I move ever forward, allowing, ever allowing my
good to unfold. I open to every avenue, every way It lays before and trust.
As I go with the flow, it blesses that which has been and beckons me come
ever further into Its expression of life as me. I gratefully accept my good
in every way and in every day, and realize my blessings always. As I pause
in my gratitude, I am filled with the all guiding good which redirects me to
ever greater unfoldings of perfect love for me and the world of my
perception. And I just allow it to be.
And so it is.

I am a blessing to me!

Quote::

According to traditional theology, we were all created in the image and
likeness of our Creator. Well then, shouldn't we act accordingly?"
~Tami Coyne and Karen Weisman

Affirmative Prayer::

There is only One. It exists in, as and through each one of us. Because It
is everywhere present and because It is always present, It manifests my
every thought. What do I choose today to be my experience? I choose good. I
choose my highest and best idea of me. I choose that which is an experience
of the Divine in me. I am the microcosm of the macrocosm. I am different
only by degree, like drop unto the ocean, the same yet individualized. As
this I am always sufficient in all things. In health, in success, in
prosperity, and in relationships with others. All I need and can accept at
my present level of acceptance and understanding is now provided. I am
blessed and I am a blessing. I am exceedingly grateful for the life I am. I
thank that spark within for all I have and for all I am in this present
moment and I accept the experience of the Divine in me. And so it is done.
And so it is.

I say thank you Spirit in every moment

Today's Quote:

"Does God need our praise? No. God is whole and complete already. Do we need
to praise? Yes! In praise, we find our oneness with God. When we lift up our
hearts in praise, we raise our vision to the highest heights of soul
expression, where every answer stands out in crystal clarity."
~Greg Barrette

My Affirmation:

I lift up my heart and my spirit to God in praise.

Today's Meditation:

As I know Spirit doesn't need my praise to be made greater or more complete,
I also know that Spirit is already whole and complete within me, as in every
soul and creation that It has ever made.
I open my heart in praise to God, not because Spirit needs it, but because I
do.
In so doing, I raise my vibratory rate, aligning and attuning myself to
Spirit's vibration and energy.
Thank You, Spirit for this healing, life-giving power that is within me.
As I trust totally and I love utterly, I open to my greater growth as a
spiritual being, in this moment, and always.

and so it is.

I die to the old and rebirth in the new!

Today's Quote:

Peace, my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet. Let it not be a
death but completeness. Let love melt into memory and pain into songs. Let
the flight through the sky end in the folding of the wings over the nest.
Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the night.
Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a moment, and say your last words in
silence. I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light you on your way.
~ Rabindranath Tagore

Affirmation:

I die to the old and rebirth in the new!

Prayer:

Lover,

I fear not my death, for in this and every moment I know, I Am your Beloved.
In and through me are you, my heart, my soul, birthed to the world.
In and through you am I, your beloved, infinite and good.
Together we are complete, a perfect unity of the heavens and the earth.
Each moment, I relish the newness and bathe myself in the Light.
There can be nothing greater than the infinite rebirth in thee.
I am at Peace in each moment I AM.
I AM every moment anew.
Thank you Spirit.

I create and mold my own reality

Quote:

"Creative power is that receptive attitude of expectancy which makes a mold
into which the plastic and as yet undifferentiated substance can flow and
take the desired form."
~Thomas Troward

Affirmative Prayer:

In this space I call reality, I recognize the perfect form of Spirit in all
things. God is my co-creator. As I offer myself up to Its perfect creative
power, I know that I am One with it, now and always. It is all there is, and
I know that I am an extension of It. Spirit is my every thought, and every
movement. As I think my thought, I know Spirit is there kneading my unformed
thought into a shape consistent with my reality in this moment. It can do no
less. My thoughts are the unformed "things" manifest in my experience, and I
am blessed. How I see them is my choice. I can see the divine sculpture or
the rubble before me. I choose to see the beauty of it all, the peace of it
all and the Love of it all. There is nothing that is not God. Why would I
choose otherwise?
As I allow this to exist in and as me, I am blessed. I thank Spirit for my
life in every way.
And so it is.

I am an Awesome Expression of God's Good!

Quote:

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed."
~Albert Einstein

Affirmative Prayer:

As I look around me, I see the beauty of my Source in everything I see, touch, taste, smell, and hear. There is nothing It is not. God in everything is God in me. I am always in awe of Its power to express through me as my world. I am humbled that I am a powerful co-creator with Source. I am in unity with this Source of Good in me, and know that as I think my thoughts, Spirit fills my world with the beauty of this One Mind of which I am an individualization. Thank you Spirit

I choose the path that is in conscious expectation of good unfolding. I know my good is my God, and in whatever form it manifests, I see the highest expression of God in It. It's all Good.

I accept my abundance with gratitude. In whatever form it comes, it comes from God. I see no lack, no limitation. I turn lemons to lemonade, and pennies to millions, one at a time. I always choose the greater over the lesser.

My good health is the perfect health of God, in whose image I am formed. I am God's direct experience of this physical world, and I choose to make Its experience a bold adventure. I step out at every turn into the unknown to experience new thoughts, new ideas, and a greater awakening of the higher me, as my world expands before me.

God this is good, this feeling of love. Thank you, Spirit. As I just allow this Love to surround me, I know that it is already done rightly.

And so it is. Amen.

I Am a Reflection of my Inner Being

Quote:
Men need assurance that the physical life is a reflection of the INNER LIFE,
and that the physical life responds to the INNER LIFE through prayer - - the
speaking of the Word.
~ Benjamin F. Sherman, The Hem of the Garment

Affirmative Prayer:
Know in this moment and every now moment that the one life, the one Truth,
that which is indivisible in my life is that which is of God, my Source,
that infinite body of the universe and even greater than I can imagine. Know
with me that this power is in each and every atom and cell of our bodies, of
mine and of yours and that this source of all things is that through which I
think, speak, feel, and know.

In knowing this I know that this power in me creates with such conscious
action that my life as I see it must be the perfect result. My thoughts by
my inner communication with source are the out-picturing I call my life. It
can be no less. I am perfect as me. My Word is my bond. I I am that which I
see myself to be. I am That. I am the out-picturing of my thoughts and I am
just as I see me. I choose all Good. I choose all perfect Source creating
through me as grand a life as I can accept. I accept it all. I know there is
only good in this and my world. I know this Good is mine unconditionally. I
accept it in style, in form and in idea.
I am blessed in all that I am.
Thank you Spirit,
And so it is.

On love

I don't have a TV. The little news and info I get, I get from being online. I'm already staring at a screen too much, so I'm glad I don't have a TV. And I read a lot more, which I love.

I digress.

I heard about Osama the day after it happened, much later, and I went to CNN.Com to get the skinny.

Tuned into a replay of Obama's address to the nation about the tactical operation, blah, blah, blah. I was saddened by what seemed like a need to justifythe killing of another human being in order that someone might feel like they would have closure. The bizarre thing is that closure at the elimination of one person will be short lived for those seeking this superficial closure when the next bomb goes off or the next attack takes place.

The cancer of hate, of religious bigotry and racial supremacy will continue to fester until each of us is willing to do a serious self-examination of who and what we are, truly. Everytime we kill someone else, we kill a little of ourselves. We have taken God out of the picture, because the ACLU puts the different religion's Gods at odds. So, we fight our wars to bring democracy to the world, but what are we? One nation under God. Is that really who says our way of life is best? Are we even a democracy? Do our legislators really do what's right for our country?

OK, I did it again. The point is, the Source of all there is, God or whatever you want to call it, manifested each and every one of us out of nothing. We are energy coming into existence, and that energy is God. We are all the livingness of God. When we kill another, we diminish ourselves just a little bit by negatively de-energizing another. God is Love. We are love. We are the microcosm of the macrocosm.

When will we realize there is no right way or wrong way? There is only The Way, and Peace is The Way, the only way. The only loving way.

Conscious Awareness

Quote:

"Everywhere we look in nature. Our eyes come in contact with abundance; for nature knows no such thing as "failure."  Therefore, there never has been, and there never will be, a lack of anything, except conscious-awareness."
~ Bob Proctor

Affirmation:

I have the consciousness to create all things new.

Affirmative Prayer:

There is only One life, this life is Universal Divine Energy, and this life is my life, now and always.
As I open to this truth of nature, the world and the Universe, I naturally open to my abundance. As I awaken to the conscious awareness that I am blessed and surrounded by the natural opulence of the world, I allow the small ideas, the limiting ideas, and the less-than ideas to fall away as I open my arms and just allow the greater goodness of all that surrounds me to be attracted into my experience. With God, I create all things new. Infinite good is mine, Infinite love, infinite joy, infinite self-expression. I say, "Yes! I am blessed!" and God, I am grateful for all the little and big things I am attracting in my life, for I AM life. And as I learn just how to accept this good, in this moment, I am able to accept more and more, easily and effortlessly. And it is good, all good. And I allow it to be.

And so it is.

I embrace my entirety!

Quote:

Paradoxically, we achieve true wholeness only by embracing our fragility and sometimes, our brokenness. Wholeness is a natural radiance of Love, and Love demands that we allow the destruction of our old self for the sake of the new.
-Jalaja Bonheim, Aphrodite's Daughters

Affirmation:

Divine source moves in, through and as me, and as each and every living thing in Its infinite universe. I am One with my Source, and the microcosm as It is the Macrocosm.  As part of It, I am, in my essence, that which It is. Perfect, Whole, and Complete. All my emotions, all my thoughts, and all my actions are the livingness of Spirit, individualized in physical form. As such I embrace every morsel of me, knowing that each is the perfect balance of me in this moment. I embrace the light and the dark, the happy and sad, the joy and the sorrow, the highs and the lows. All parts of me I honor and embrace, knowing that through all of them I find my center. I am blessed in the love of this knowing and I accept myself and all my parts with love. I am grateful for all of me and I rest in this truth.
And so it is.

What life is! ::

What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the Sunset.

~ Crowfoot, a leader of the Blackfoot nation

There is only One. It is found in all things. It is all things. It is in you, and me and even in the breath of the Buffalo in the Winter time. I am blessed. We are all blessed by the unity within which we move, within the perfection which is everywhere present.

I know that my life, our lives, are entwined, inseparable, just as we are inseparable from our source. Never is there separation, never is there, lack, never is there anything which is not in perfect loving order, if we are ready to open to that which is.

As I lose my old self in the sunset of yesterday, and turn towards the light, towards, the truth, towards a new idea of me, of us, of everyone and everything, I see the change unfold before my very eyes.

It is my life, and I am always in humble gratitude for what it is, and how it serves me.

And so it is!

Thy Will Be Done!

Quote:

"What we usually pray to God is not that His will be done, but that He approve ours."
~Helga Bergold Gross

Today's Affirmation

I am surrendered and still in the Oneness of my unified Life.

Today's Meditation

I know that there is only one life. That life is God's life, and that life is my life. I know that there is no separation in any way between the Infinite and I. The I that is me is that same I in "I Am." As I create my life, it is the life of Spirit personified. In all its joys and all its sorrows, in its seeming abundance and perceived failures it only reflects that perfect idea of life as I wish to experience it in my God state. I choose exactly how I wish to spend my awakened moments. There is no one else who can live my life, God's life, for me. I am the only player, and I choose the good of my experiences.

As I allow all the experiences in my world to flow, I choose to reach for and attract into my life that which is meaningful and that which is loving.

I consciously know my life is guided by Love and that I am transformed by the guidance of Spirit in my life.

I release any perceptions that I must make anything happen to receive my good and my love.
I am focused on what I desire in my life, and open myself to the clarity I receive through Spirit.
I know Spirit desires only for my highest and best, now and always.
I am grateful for all of my life and allow it to unfold in perfect order.
And so it is.

There is only Now

Quote:
The miracle of Jesus is himself, not what he said or did about the future.
Forget about the future.
~ A Year with Rumi, trans., by Coleman Barks

There is nothing out there. It is all right here, within. In the now moment
all things exist. The past, present and future exist as One. One. One life,
One Love, just One. We, I, am part of it, or No, I am It. There is no
separation, no thing, which I am not. I am related to all. Atom by atom,
cell by cell, I am inextricably part of the whole. I can think I am
separate, but whatever I do I am always reminded, I am, and I am brought
back to the whole. I am, particle by particle, perfect, I am whole and I am
complete, just as I am.
That's all I can be. In whatever I dive into, I am a success. It may not
seem that way, but I always am. I learn, I grow, I conquer my fears, I see a
greater idea, beyond even what I thought could be, and it is so. As I let go
of any limited ideas I may have and blaze forward knowing I am supported
always, as one thing falls away another rises to take its place. As I forge
new paths, new roads emerge beneath my feet. God, I love this life, and it
loves me, and I know it's so.
And so it is.
